Popular questions about eSIM from travelers
Can I use both my eSIM and physical SIM at the same time?
Yes, most modern smartphones that support eSIM also support Dual SIM functionality. This means you can use an eSIM and a physical SIM simultaneously. You can choose which one to use for data, calls, and messages. It's a great way to manage personal and travel lines on one device.
What should I do if my eSIM stops working abroad?
If your eSIM stops working while you're abroad:
- First, ensure that roaming is enabled on your device for the Tunz/DENT eSIM.
- Check if your data package has expired or run out.
- Restart your phone or toggle airplane mode on/off.
- If issues persist, contact our support team via the app or website.
Is my phone compatible with eSIM?
To use an eSIM, your phone must be both eSIM-compatible and unlocked. Most newer models from Apple, Samsung, and Google support eSIM. You can check compatibility in your device settings or consult our compatibility list at https://shop.tunz.io/pages/supported-devices-list.
Can I buy multiple eSIMs with one account?
No, your first purchase creates your only eSIM. Any additional data packages you buy will be added as top-ups to that same eSIM. If you need more eSIMs for friends, family, or other devices, you can use Teams, our platform that lets you create and manage additional eSIMs and share your data balance across them.
